The Sap Saf New Generation comes from a family of musicians from Mbour, a coastal town in Senegal. Their connection to music goes back generations. Dancing, singing and drumming have been in their cradle, and the stage has been their second home since childhood. Their aim is to share their culture. To this end, they organize djembe and dance workshops for schools, companies and private individuals. Isma Kouate, Nago Sene and Famara Manafa, members of a well-known griot family from Senegal, perform all over Europe. The focus is on fun.

11:15

The 50 singers of the POPCHOR KONSTANZ are masters of up to 6-part harmony as well as monophonic solo passages. Voices from three generations blend to create an overall sound that is as precise as it is harmonious. The choir sings partly with piano accompaniment, partly a cappella, and delights its audience with soulful ballads and groovy pop hits from seven decades. In addition to love in all its facets, the POPCHOR KONSTANZ also “sings” about very serious topics such as imprisonment, rejection and abuse.

The POPCHOR KONSTANZ was founded in 2019 as an ambitious amateur choir under the professional and proven direction of Dirk Werner and has already made a name for itself in the music world around Lake Constance with several concerts.
